A good place to start for Macworld information is to checkout the link below which is our “best of” articles from last year. These articles will have info for first time Macworld attendees.
Connect with Other Macworld Expo Attendees
1. Macworld Expo @ Ning is a fantastic resource that every attendee should be a member of. It’s a social network built just for us with blogs, forums and ways to share media with others.
2. Macworld Fan Page @ Facebook is just a cool page to fan Macworld Expo. There are other fan pages for CES and NAB so we have to show off our support by becoming a fan and making this page the largest fan page on Facebook for a tech event.
3. Macworld Group @ Facebook is a combination of 1 & 2. It’s a small network of like-minded people combined with a way to show off just how many Mac users love MW C&E. Join now and chat it up with others in your own group.
4. Macworld @ Upcoming.org is a group I created last year. Every Macworld party shows up on Upcoming and a team of admins will be adding Macworld parties to this list and you can subscribe to the list via iCal. It’s really awesome for knowing what parties and events outside of Macworld are going on.
5. Macworld 2009 @ Flickr is a group every photographer that’s attending Macworld needs to be a part of. It’s easy. Snap photos while you’re at Macworld and send them to this group for others to join. Many will be promoting this group heavily so join and share your pics. It gets extra exposure for you and helps people relive expo year after year. Here is last year’s group for Macworld 2008 (link).
