I’ve received nearly 12 emails a day since last Wednesday asking whether or not me or DailyTechTalk will be hosting our yearly trip to Apple headquarters. I hosted this trip in 2006 and 2007 and it was a lot of fun! However, the trip was coordinated differently from our other events:
- The trip was planned on Thursday and took place on Friday
- Transportation was donated by a friend of ours (a different friend on both years)
- Both years involved a mini-van which only has a maximum of 7 people
If I was to rent a van or bus, those costs would need to be recouped. Also, planning the day is difficult. Monday morning and Friday afternoon are the best days for this kind of trip. So, I’m leaving it up to you. Put in the comments what day you’d like to have the trip and how much you’d be willing to pay for transportation.I can’t guarantee anything but will work toward a fun experience and ensure that you’re able to take photos in front of Apple headquarters and buy a ton of Apple logo gear like pens, shirts, buttons, coffee cups, hats……..
Sly of YourMacLife messaged me stating that they are not doing a trip to Apple HQ as they have in previous years. YML always has the best HQ trips. If you find any blogs or groups that are organizing a Cupertino trip, please let me know via email or in the comments
