It’s great to see IDG stepping up and filling a void that has been attempted in the past. Last year, Dori Smith released an iPhone optimized site that let you search Moscone center for exhibitors and maps to their booths. It didn’t quite get the traction that I expected but IDG has outdone themselves by creating an iPhone app that does what Dori’s site does plus some extras that will be enabled right before Macworld.
The app is primarily focused on exhibitors, product info and getting around the show floor but we might see some more enhancements soon. You can download the application here.
