Just a heads up. DO NOT call 911 on your cell phone. From what I understand, you'll be on hold for about 15 minutes or more depending on the time. It redirects you to the California Highway Patrol (CHP for short) office in Vallejo, which is give or take 30 minutes to an hour away. According to the CHP's office, it might not rediect you if not you're in range of a freeway, but it's not worth the risk. (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&geocode=&time=&date=&ttype=&saddr=san+francisco&daddr=vallejo&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=47.972233,60.644531&ie=UTF8&ll=37.806529,-122.375336&spn=0.753,0.947571&z=10&om=1)

The phone number for the San Francisco Police Department Dispatch is 415-553-8090

P.S
I'll try to remember to give a shout-out out to the pre-keynote meet-up group when I'm onstage with Steve. I'm sure that this is the year he'll call me up.
Yeah I know, improbable , but not impossible.

Good points Adam.
Having lived in a large city (Philly) for almost 20 years, I can add one little tip to Adam's tips. When your in a safe/big tourist area, be smart, but feel free to look around, take pictures and generally not be concerned if everyone knows that it's your first time in San Francisco. By the way, locals hate it when your refer to San Francisco as "Frisco". If your in a suspect area, always act like your mad at the world and don't give a s**t, and your can be pretty sure no one will pay you any attention.
My 2cents
...................David.
P.S Does anyone else get the feeling that we will leave the keynote this year with either one of two responses
1) Ho-Hum, I hope that there is some cool stuff to see at the other booths or
2) Wer're knocking old ladies out of the way to be the first at the Apple Booth

It just doesn't have the feeling of a middle-of-the-road keynote this year.
............See y'all at 4 a.m.
